The Arai Quantum-X is a premium street full-face helmet built on Arai’s PB-SCLC shell and the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield — designed to maximize Glancing Off ability in the critical temple zone. Featuring active QVF/QVR ventilation, FCS® cheek pads, a water-repellent ES Chin Cover, and VAS-MV Pinlock 120 MaxVision shield included in the box, the Quantum-X sets the benchmark for street-focused protection and comfort. Available in 10 colorways: Diamond White, Diamond Black, Red, Silver, Pearl Black, Black Frost, Blue, Wave, White, and Oriental Black Frost.

Shell & Protection

• Peripherally Belted Super Complex Laminate (PB-SCLC) shell — combines multiple materials and techniques for both performance and value
• Round oval shape — thicker front/rear pads with thinner side pads for riders with slightly wider (less elongated) head shapes
• VAS shield system lowers the pivot point an average of 24mm, smoothing the shell surface in the temple area and improving Glancing Off ability on impact

VAS Shield System

• VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield with wide field of view; accepts VAS-MV Pinlock lens
• Pinlock 120 MaxVision included in the box
• VAS latch securely holds the shield closed to prevent unexpected opening
• Larger latch for intuitive, seamless operation including de-mist function

Ventilation

• QVF three-position intake duct for adjustable airflow
• QVR exhaust duct for efficient heat extraction
• Side vent functions as an exhaust vent even when the top duct front shutter is closed
• Water-repellent ES Chin Cover (installed) — smooths airflow, increases exhaust from the mouth area, and reduces wind noise from below; enhances Egg Shape of the shell

Interior & Fit

• FCS® Cheek Pads — contoured shape with multiple foam density layers and a foam “spring” to cradle the face, ease on/off, and block wind noise
• Soft-brushed, removable liner for easy cleaning and long-ride comfort
