This Cometic replacement magneto cover gasket is designed for the specific Yamaha applications listed below. Stator cover gaskets are made from an AFM Material which is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core.

Key Features

• Stator cover gaskets are made from an AFM Material which is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core.
• Magneto cover gaskets are made from EST (Extreme Sealing Technology) material instead of fiber.
• Save service time as AFM will not stick to the engine case making replacement quick and easy, no more scraping.
• No gasket sealants or silicone bead is required, re-torque is also not required.
• Aluminum core gives the gasket strength for a superior seal and prevents the gasket from weeping or crawling out in today’s engine cases with limited sealing surfaces.
• AFM is a compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with a high temperature resistance of more than 250°F; it has an 85% recovery while maintaining a strong torque retention.
• Made in the USA.
