These tires are being sold as "used" strictly because of their 2023 date code. They've never been mounted on a rim.  We've found that when our customers order a "new" tire they typically expect it be somewhere between 6 months and 24 months old. As we strive to meet our customer's expectations, once a tire gets to a certain age we mark it as used and discount the price accordingly. This allows the customer to make an informed decision and save some money. We also offer this tire in a "new" condition.
